Design as a living process
As part of what is probably the most extensive redesign in the history of the City of Vienna, one thing could not be missing: a constantly growing pool of pictograms and illustrations — a highly condensed visual representation of everything that matters in one of the world’s most liveable cities. Our starting point was a small initial set of ten pictograms provided by the rebranding agency.
We defined rules and refined the design framework to create a solid foundation that will also support future expansions.
