Campaign Concept
The MuseumsQuartier Wien as one of the biggest cultural areal in Vienna has not only created space for seasonal events during summer and winter times, but has also made targeted use of outdoor advertising (OOH communication) to raise awareness of these activities.
2020 was an extraordinary year: a pandemic, numerous lockdowns and social uncertainty shaped everyday life. The MuseumsQuartier Wien – a place of encounter, exchange and interaction – was also affected by the restrictions on public life. That is precisely why it was important to us to convey an attitude during this time that could give people strength and orientation.
The question WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS NOW, which we asked ourselves, called for a hand-picked selection of messages that were interpreted by different illustrators and carried into the streets of Vienna and the virtual world.
